Music’s biggest night, The Grammy Awards, was held on Sunday (3 March), and here are some highlights.
Lil Nas X, who received five nominations at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards but was disgracefully ROBBED of any on the night, absolutely slayed a medley of his hits Call Me By Your Name, Dead Right Now and Industry Baby.
The rapper and queer icon took to Twitter after, joking: “Can’t believe i lost all my Grammys. I am now no longer gay!”
Quickly then adding: “I change my mind i want to be slutted out tonight” (and same tbh), before sharing a “new track”, ‘I ain’t win no Grammy (0-5)’.

The night also saw the likes of Lady Gaga, Brandi Carlile and Ben Platt perform on stage, with Mother Monster performing a moving tribute to Tony Bennett.
Gaga received a standing ovation after performing Cole Porter’s ‘Love for Sale‘, and dedicating the track to Bennett, saying: “I love you, Tony. We miss you.”
Gaga and Bennett later won the Grammy for Traditional Pop Vocal Album for their 2021 collaboration.
Speaking to Variety ahead of the ceremony, Bennett’s son Danny said: “Although the producers had invited both Tony and Gaga to perform in Sunday’s Grammys broadcast, it is unfortunate that due to his continuing struggle with Alzheimer’s, he was not able to accept.
“There is no doubt that she will offer an impeccable performance from Love for Sale, which is Tony’s final album. He will be cheering her on as he watches from his home in New York City.”
Elsewhere Gaga, once again, showed her sisterhood levels are off the chart when she held up Sza‘s dress as she made her way to the stage to accept the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance

Brandi Carlile, who was nominated for several awards on the night, delivered an epic performance of her song Right on Time, after being introduced to the stage by legendary Joni Mitchell.
Carlile and her wife Catherine Shepherd shared an adorable moment on the red carpet ahead of her performance, exchanging a kiss for the cameras.

Doja Cat picked up an award for Kiss Me More, a collaboration with SZA, which scooped up a win in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. See DC’s acceptance speech here or below.
RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Derrick Barry, Naomi Smalls, Alexis Mateo, Kameron Michaels, Trinity K. Bonet, Jaida Essence Hall, Coco Montrese, & Kahanna Montrese walked down the Grammy’s red carpet honouring the outfits of past award-winners.

Country singers Brothers Osborne picked up their first Grammy, having previously been nominated eight times, winning Best Country Duo/Group Performance for track ‘Younger Me’, which was penned after TJ Osborne came out publicly in 2021.

Tyler, the Creator picked up his second Grammy on the night. The 31-year-old beat competition from Kanye West, Drake, Nas, and J.Cole in this year’s Best Rap Album category for Call Me If You Get Lost. TtC didn’t attend on the night but celebrated his win over Instagram Live.
Elsewhere, the alternative category at the awards was filled with LGBTQ+ artists. Halsey, The Japanese Breakfast, Arlo Parks and St. Vincent was nominated, with the award going to St. Vincent for her record Daddy’s Home.
Dear Evan Hansen stars and lovebirds Ben Platt and Noah Galvin also shared sweet moments on the red carpet tonight, holding hands and kissing.
Billie Eilish paid tribute to the late Taylor Hawkins during her 2022 Grammys performance of ‘Happier Than Ever,’ sporting a T-shirt with the drummer’s face on it.
