JoJo Siwa took time out of slaying it on Dancing With The Stars every week to pop onto the Farewell Season of Ellen and chat candidly about how her sexuality and being a gay icon.

Siwa said: “It’s wild to me. I look at people who are called gay icons – you, Lady Gaga, Freddie Mercury – my favourite people. And to be in that category at 18 is just insane, and it’s just because of who I am. It feels amazing.”

JoJo chats about what her shows are like too and frankly they sound like a hoot! “Think of it as like 4 year olds, and gay 19 year olds. It’s like Kidz Bop meets Pride fest. That’s my concert.”

Of course she also talked about people’s reaction a to her being in a same sex partnership on DWTS:  “Hearing adults say I wish I had someone like you when I was little, that makes me know that the kids that are little have someone like me.”
