Ah we love to see it! Zeke Smith and Nico Santos are engaged.
GLAAD hosted the first of two ceremonies for this year’s GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday (2 April) at Los Angeles’ Beverly Hilton hotel and awards weren’t the only thing being handed out on the night.
Two-time Survivor contestant Zeke Smith got down on one knee and asked Crazy Rich Asians star Nico Santos to marry him, four years after the two met at the very same ceremony.
Zeke confirmed their relationship on Twitter shortly after meeting in a post: “I guess everybody knows about my hot little 25 year-old boyfriend now. Oh, haaayyy @nicosantos,” the reality star said in 2018.
The surprise proposal on the night was met with cheers from the audience as Smith said: “Nico, your love has taught me how to love,” before getting on one knee and adding, “You are my other half, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Smith was famously outed as transgender by a fellow contestant during Survivor: Game Changers in 2017.
“Why haven’t you told anyone you are transgender?” contestant Jeff Varner, who is gay, asked.
The shocking moment sparked outrage and Varner apologize publicly after.
Speaking after the show aired, Zeke said: “I didn’t want to be the ‘first transgender Survivor contestant,’” he told PEOPLE , adding, “I’m not ashamed of being trans, but I didn’t want that to be my story … I just wanted to go out on an adventure and play a great game. I just wanted to be known for my game.”
The adorable couple shared their nappy news on social media shortly after:
“I said yes. You have my heart forever @zekerchief,” Santos wrote on Instagram, while “He said yes. I’m the luckiest guy in the world,” was posted to Smith‘s.
Then adding, “Thank you to @glaad and @tiffanyandco for making it magical.”
WE LOVE TO SEE IT!!
