The actor and author, who played queer angel Castiel in Supernatural, appears to have come out as bisexual during a recent event.

47-year-old Misha Collins, known for his role in CW’s Supernatural, seemingly came out as bi while speaking at Creation Entertainment’s Supernatural Official Convention (23 April), in Secaucus, New Jersey.

Whilst giving a talk at a podium, Collins asked the crowd: “By show of force: how many of you would consider yourself introverts?” Collins said.

“How many extroverts?”, he continued, “And how many bisexuals?”, at which point the audience erupted in cheers.

“I’m all three,” he then appeared to then say casually, waving his hand afterwards.

Fans on social media went into overdrive as the clip went viral, with one writing: “Wait did Misha just like. Explicitly come out as bi? Is that what I am witnessing here? Because that kind of feels like what I’m witnessing here? 🥹

While another said, “Rewatching this again I can’t stop crying he was so nervous and he thought of asking the other two questions so that it is socially acceptable. I’m So proud of him. You are socially acceptable misha.”

“did not have bisexual misha collins on my 2022 bingo card”, joked another user.

Supernatural, which has developed somewhat of a cult fandom, came to an end in 2020 but not before seeing character Casteil come out during the final season.

In real life, Collins is currently separated from his wife, Victoria Vantoch. The pair married in 2001 and have two children together, West and Maison.

Supernatural is available on Netflix and some Castiel moments are below.
