JoJo Siwa brought to tears as Meghan Trainor surprises her with gift on Ellen Show

Jojo was guest hosting when Meghan brought out the surprise gift.

We do love a good festive love-in.

JoJo Siwa, who earlier this year made history on Dancing With The Stars as part of the US franchise’s first same-sex pairing, was filling in for Ellen on Wednesday (December 22) and Meghan appeared as a guest.

Although it was both Meghan’s birthday and her wedding anniversary, she was the one who came with a gift as she presented JoJo with a $100,000 check for her recently launched charity, The JoJo Siwa Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Brought to tears, Jojo said: “This is gonna help so many kids. I had no idea about this, I’m so caught off guard – this is the biggest donation that we’ve had yet to the charity.”

Siwa took to Instagram after flming to say: “I cant believe this🥺 when I was little I would watch Ellen every, single, day. I’ve been obsessed for as long as I can remember. I can remember times when I would try so hard to get on Ellen and now…. Ellen had me as a guest host!!🙏🏻 This was DEFINITELY a career dream AND a personal dream come true. So grateful for my sister @meghan_trainor for being a guest and for my 7 best friends @xomgpop for performing!!✨ This is a day that I will never ever forget! Thank you for everything @theellenshow 🙏🏻”

Jojo’s stint as host makes her the youngest person in the shows history to take the presenting reigns, but she appeared as a guest on Ellen herself back in November to talk about what it means to her to be considered a gay icon, after coming out in January this year.
