I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot drops first trailer… inc. queer relationship

What are you waiting for, huh?! What are you waiting for?!

Actually, they’re not waiting any longer, we have a first teaser trailer.

Amazon Prime Video has released a new trailer for the series reboot of I Know What You Did Last Summer and although – sadly – it doesn’t include a shirtless Ryan Philippe, it does feature a queer relationship.

The iconic 1997 original movie starred Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze Jr and Ryan Phillippe, and although none of the OG cast will make an appearance in the reboot, it does follow a similar narrative because it’s based on the same novel.

Except this time the killer will send threatening text messages rather than notes because, y’know, it’s 2021.

The 2021 series will see a group of teens dealing with a brutal killer one year after a deadly car accident that took place the night of their high school graduation. “As they try to piece together who’s after them, they reveal the dark side of their seemingly perfect town—and themselves. Everyone is hiding something, and uncovering the wrong secret could be deadly.”

Madison Iseman, Bill Heck, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, Sebastian Amoruso, Fiona Rene, Cassie Beck, and Brooke Bloom will all star in the 2021 remake.
