Heartstopper cast say no to hate while dancing to Whitney at Pride in London
The cast of Netflix’s hit LGBTQ+ show Heartstopper attended Pride in London (July 2), which this year celebrates 50 years since the first UK Pride march.
A lot has changed in five decades: one such thing being a young cast on an LGBTQ+ show becoming the global sensation it has.
One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is homophobia.
A bunch anti-LGBTQ+ protestors took aim at the crowds, trying to spoil the occasion and speak over the message of unity.
The Heartstopper cast, quite rightly, told them to fu*k off. Simply just by dancing and being proud.
