‘Gifted’: Jesse Williams is trending after video of full frontal scene in Broadway show leaks online

Jesse Williams is trending on social media and the gays cannot cope

Footage of Grey’s Anatomy actor Jesse Williams appearing nude during a scene for the Broadway play Take Me Out has been leaked online.

The 40-year-old actor just received a Tony nomination for his work in the play revival, which follows a gay baseball player coming out to his teammates and the press.

The play’s full synopsis reads: “When Darren Lemming (Williams), the star center fielder for the Empires, comes out of the closet, the reception off the field reveals a barrage of long-held unspoken prejudices. Facing some hostile teammates and fraught friendships, Darren is forced to contend with the challenges of being a gay person of color within the confines of a classic American institution. As the Empires struggle to rally toward a championship season, the players and their fans begin to question tradition, their loyalties, and the price of victory.”

Jesse and most of the male cast, including Patrick J. Adams, go full frontal during the show and a video appears to have been recorded by an audience member in the front row.

Despite audience members being required to keep devices in sealed cases throughout the duration of the play, staged at the Hayes Theater, a full-frontal clip of Williams began circulating on the Internet on Monday (9 May).

Jesse appears to be… gifted in the footage and The Gays on social media are ‘obsessed’ and hailing the Oscar-winning producer and actor ‘man of the moment’.

Unsurprisingly, the leak has resulted in a spike in ticket sales, with one user tweeting,  ‘Jessie Williams just single handily brought them ticket sells up 100% and I can only imagine what his DMs looking like rn [sic]’.

The footage leak has also spawned a series of reaction memes (below).
