Andrew Garfield says he’ll do Strictly Come Dancing with Johannes Radebe if he wins an Oscar

Andrew Garfield says he’ll do Strictly if he wins an Oscar – and will partner with Johannes. We’re already obsessed.

Okay so who exactly at the Oscar’s do we have to speak to so we can make this happen??

The dreamy Spriderman star was appearing on The Graham Norton Show in the UK, which also featured Johannes and Dawn French, on Friday (18 February), to promote his Netflix film tick, tick…BOOM – which already earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.

When asked by Norton if he would ever consider appearing in the hugely popular UK branch of Strictly, Garfield replied: “It’s hard to confess this. I would love to do Strictly. It’s on the bucket list”.

At which point Johannes raises his hand and wastes no time declaring: “Well thank you, I’ll do it!

Andrew then replies: “It would be so much… If I win the Oscar, then I’ll come and do it. How’s that?”

Fellow guest Rob Beckett joked: “There’s a rich history of Oscar winners that have done it!”

This, naturally, sent Twitter STANS into overload, with many users demanding that Garfield be awarded an Oscar in the hope he might follow through and appear on the show.

It wouldn’t be his first foray into reality television, having appeared (brilliantly) as a guest judge on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK in 2019.

Johannes Radebe made history for the UK arm of Strictly in 2021 as part of the first all-male pairing on the show alongside former Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite.

The 2022 Academy Awards are set to air on 28 March. Fingers crossed.
