Despite the fact the Tom Daley hasn’t jumped straight into Strictly Come Dancing as was previously hoped, he’s not going to be scurrying back to the pool to practise for France 2024 just yet.
After FINALLY winning his gold for the men’s 10 metre synchro at Tokyo 2020, he can relax slightly knowing he’s achieved one of his life goals. Along with his knitting though, he’ll now be putting the finishing golden touches on his first memoir, Coming Up For Air which is released later this year.
But what next after that? A source told the UK’s Sun newspaper: ‘‘Tom has a huge appeal and because of his incredible sporting career he is a household name. His success at the Tokyo Games only made him stand out more and those around him think a children’s book would be a brilliant step. As a father himself, he knows what works for children and what they like.”
Of course they will be referring to his son Robbie who he shares with husband Dustin Lance Black. Tom cheekily referred to being a dad in these racy shots on Instagram as well as a saying he’s ‘Papa but still…’ followed but a smirking emoji and a splash emoji. We can’t wait to read all about his life and with his saucy emoji’s perhaps his memoir certainly won’t be for kids.
