Social media users drag conservative dating app ‘The Right Stuff’ as some subscribers claim to have been contacted by FBI

Quelle surprise: The Right Stuff appears to be going very wrong with an assortment of funny one-star reviews

In August, it was revealed that a new dating app – designed to connect single conservatives with other homophobes folk who share similar political beliefs – would be hitting the market.

The Right Stuff was announced with a video featuring creator Ryann McEnany, sister of former Trump White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who assured potential users that the dating platform will be “invite-only, so not just anyone can join” (Republican code for ‘no fa*s’).

Women are incentivised to join the app with access to a premium membership for free – a benefit men have to pay extra for.

Social media, understandably, found the whole thing fu*king hilarious and dragged the app for its “anti-woke” manifesto (click here and scroll to the bottom for funny tweets) – and now it seems even Republicans have turned on it.

The app – which received financial backing gay conservative billionaire and Paypal co-founder Peter Thiel – not only launched to largely negative reviews, but within just days of it launching, some subscribers claim to have been contacted by the FBI over their responses on the platform.

Specifically in relation to their whereabouts on January 6… Watch the video below:

“I said I was there because I was, I’m a patriot. That’s why I’m on this dating app,” wrote one user, when asked about January 6 attack on the Capitol. He then claims he was contacted by the FBI.

“I use this app for hardly an evening and is it a coincidence I get a call from an FBI agent the SAME DAY????” he added, before accusing the Right Stuff of being an asset of the “deep state”.

Seemingly the app has question prompts – a bit like Hinge – such as “My favorite liberal lie is…”, and “January 6th was…”

Of course, January 6 was the insurrection at the US Capitol building, for which investigations are still underway.

The Right Stuff – lol

“The next day I have two police officers at my door”, said one user who left a one-star review.

They weren’t the only one…

Other users on the app, which also reportedly has ties to Donald Trump, complained of it being full of men, with very few female profiles.

Have a look at what some folk are saying on social media, where the app is currently being dragged like hell – a glorious thing to behold.
