Sarah Michelle Gellar being taught what the gays mean by ‘MOTHER’, while promoting TV comeback ‘Wolf Pack’

MOTHER

Vampire slaying queen Sarah Michelle Gellar was promoting her new show ‘Wolf Pack’ this week when she was given a brief introduction to the meaning of MOTHER in the LGBTQ+ community.

Buff- we mean Sarah, was asked by Gay Times’ Sam Damshenas about being an LGBTQ+ icon, at which point she let the audience know she had just found out about the M saying, typically applied to female icons in entertainment.

“When the gays love a woman, we think MOTHER”, Damshenas informed her, to which the gays crowd let out a cheer of MOTHERS at the newly-enlightened actress.

SMG was in town to promote new supernatural series Wolf Pack. Along with executive-producing the series, Gellar also plays series-regular Kristin Ramsey, an arson investigator who gets more than she bargained for while looking into a California wildfire with supernatural origins.

Gellar is, of course, known for a number of iconic roles, including Cruel Intentions, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and as the star of generation-defining TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Which we can neither confirm or deny we still watch on an almost religious cycle.

Although clearly a huge drawing point for the show, Gellar has said in numerous interviews that fans may have to wait a few episodes to understand the significance of her character, Kristin, and what role she will play in the supernatural narrative.

We cannot WAIT.

Wolf Pack premiers Jan 26 on Paramount+. Trailer below.
