Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to be Donald Trump’s Vice President in a 2024 presidential bid, he is apparently considering it

Marjorie Taylor Greene wants to be vice-president of the United States of America, serving under a re-elected Donald Trump.

Republican Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene has publicly come out (not in that way, not yet) and admitted her aspirations to join Donald Trump’s potential bid for the presidency in 2024, saying she would be “honoured” to run alongside him as his vice-president.

All this screaming from the top of her lungs, to anyone who would listen, about the evils of queer people and the importance of traditional family values was always heading somewhere, so it’s no great surprise that’s what – and with whom – she’s set her sights on.

Greene, who loves to call LGBTQ+ people “groomers” while spreading other nonsense misinformation (she said monkeypox is an STI and eluded to some drivel about gay men with kids) on social media, has long been a vocal supporter of Trump – and she’s just about as fucking insane clueless as him, so it makes sense in the most terrifying of ways.

Obviously one would hope that such a nightmare scenario could never become reality, but then we all thought they would never overturn Roe v. Wade and look how that turned out. So we can’t be too flippant. Certainly not currently.

Greene was speaking with conservative media network Real America’s Voice when asked what she makes of some online chatter about her as a potential running mate to Trump in 2024. She responded that she would “definitely give that some strong consideration.” (how coy)

“I love President Trump”, she continued. “I never hide that fact. I think he’s wonderful,” she said. “I have a great relationship with him. I talk him to frequently. I’m so thankful for him and his family, as we all are, and I defend him all the time,”

Greene added that she would “fight for that man because he fought for us” and described him as the kind of president “we need back.”

Just the other day, Greene was said to have been greeted with cheers of “MTG for VP” during a public appearance with Trump at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

“I was amazed,” she later told Washington Examiner, adding she is “confident” he will run again in 2024.

“I’m not shy or hesitant about saying I believe he won the election in 2020. I totally believed it was rigged”, she said. “I believe it was stolen. I objected on Jan. 6, and I would have objected again today and tomorrow if I could. And I think I can confidently say he’ll win a third presidential election in 2024”.

Adding, “He is the leader of the Republican Party, no matter what anyone says, he flat-out is.”

Trump has not yet formally announced that he is running in 2024 but has eluded to the idea several times and recently the press caught images of Eric Trump’s golf bag, which had “Trump 2024” stitched into it.

Let’s remind ourselves of the now-viral video that emerged less than two weeks ago (July 22), shared by The Washington Post, filmed a day after the violent insurrection on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. To some, one of the darkest days in US political history.

The House committee investigating the insurrection in testimony showed part of the recording of a speech Trump gave the day after the riot.

It sees Trump struggling to record the message, refusing to say the election results had been settled and attempting to call the rioters patriots.

“‘But this election is now over. Congress has certified the results’ — I don’t want to say the election’s over,” he said. “I just want to say ‘Congress has certified the results’ without saying the election’s over.”

He also went to great lengths to not accuse the rioters of any wrongdoing.
