Cardi B calls homophobes ‘ugly’ in impromptu Twitter smack down

Cardi B drops a message for Twitter homophobes.

Cardi B took to Twitter today (January 4) with a message for homophobes everywhere. Quite simply saying…

“Every bad bitch have a gay best friend or gay best friend cousin ……If you homophobic you just ugly.”

We are in agreement.

It’s not quite known what prompted the Tweet from the Grammy-winning rapper, but it was welcomed with praise from LGBT followers and allies who were living the post.

Cardi, who is currently married to Migos member Offset, has said in the past that she is a ‘whole bisexual’ after having previously had relationships with women.

She did, however, have to defend herself back in June when a Twitter user accused her of being ‘homophobic and transphobic’. She did so in a series of Tweets…

‘How the f**k am i homophobic or transphobic?have you been to a carribean island where you really see homophobia! Have you dealt with a parent that can’t accept you for your sexuality?i said some ignorant things b4 that apologized for & educated myself on it don’t mean I’m homo [sic],’ Cardi wrote at the time.

Continuing: ‘Ya keep using that same 1 video that I apologize for over & over again to call me homophobic & transphobic 1 but never post about the ones where I support the LGBT community which are multiples and the multiple tweets I posted in support [sic].’

The rapper has since cemented her ally status by being more vocal online and even officiating a same-sex wedding with help from That’s So Raven star Raven-Symoné.

Having made a name for herself as an expert, legally ordained queer wedding officiator, Cardi was soon in demand.

Shortly after Harold & Kumar star Kal Penn came out as gay and announced his engagement back in October, he spotted B on a plane to LAX and decided to manifest. By which we mean he went on Twitter and dropped some hints…

“Cardi B was on my flight to LA,” Penn tweeted. “I fell asleep and had a dream that she officiated our wedding on the plane and the three of us walked out of LAX holding hands.”

Cardi B saw his tweet and replied: “First, why didn’t you say hi! Second, I’m licensed to do that sooo…. let me know,” she replied.
