Adele wraps herself in Pride flag for emotional performance in Hyde Park

Adele said LGBTQ+ rights during her show over the weekend, by sporting a Pride progress flag onstage

 

As Pride in London celebrations were underway in the Capital yesterday (July 2, click here to see the Heartstopper cast living their best lives), Adele was performing in London at British Summer Time in Hyde Park.

 

The singer took to the stage for her second public concert since she headlined two Wembley concerts in 2017, and absolutely slayed her performance to the 65,000-strong crowd.

 

The singer donned the Progress Pride Flag as she belted out her song ‘When We Were Young’, telling the audience: ‘Happy Pride. I wore my hair out today to try and be a bit draggy.’

 

 

In 2018, Adele got ordained so she could marry Drag Race UK judge Alan Carr to his husband Paul Drayton.
