‘I hope your marriage goes better than mine’: Miley Cyrus helps gay fan propose to his partner in adorable on-stage moment

Miley Cyrus was on hand to help orchestrate a gay marriage proposal during her recent performance at Lollapalooza Brazil in Sao Paulo .

We love it when popstars do nice things on stage. Whether it’s Harry Styles helping a fan come out at a gig, or in this instance, Miley Cyrus helping two fans come together – we’re here for it.

During her recent performance at Lollapalooza Brazil on Saturday (26 March), Miley stood with the couple, named Vinny and Victor, who had met at one of her gigs seven years earlier, as one popped the question in front of the entire audience.

“It is my honor to introduce Vinny and Victor, who I believe became boyfriends at one of my shows almost ten years ago. Who’s doing the honors?” Miley said before handing the mic over.

Cyrus was married herself, to heartthrob Liam Hemsworth in back in 2018, but it didn’t work out and the couple separated shortly after.

In typically iconic Miley style, she congratulated the happy couple before sassily adding a swift, “Honey, I hope your marriage goes better than mine. Mine was a fu*king disaster.”

Miley also dedicated a tearful performance of track Angels Like Us to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who tragically died, aged just 50, one day earlier. He and the rest of Foo Fighters had been slated to headline the concert alongside Cyrus.
