Grindr Unwrapped: which countries have the most top, vers, bottom and side users, plus other interesting facts
It comes quicker every year.
Screw Spotify unwrapped! This is the kind of information
the gays we want. Nay, this is the kind of information we need.
Grindr has released its annual end-of-year report on user habits, based on geographical location, and the results, much like those from its 2021 predecessor, are rather interesting.
The informal annual report from Grindr comes un two parts: one uses anonymous, aggregated data from the app’s 13 million worldwide users who include information on their profiles. The other comes from a survey of 10,000 users about their favorite queer pop culture moments of 2022.

“It hasn’t been the easiest year for our community – we’ve had high highs with moments like the passing of the Respect for Marriage Act and Grindr going public, and plenty of low lows with increased transphobic and homophobic legislation and atrocities like the shooting at Club Q,” said Alex Black, Grindr’s Director of Marketing.
“GRINDR UNWRAPPED this year is a fun, authentic reflection of what our users got up to and got into in 2022, and we’re glad to help add some levity to the end of year madness.”
