We’ve had a bit of a break from Drag Race (well, 2 weeks) but RuPaul, surely the hardest working judge in all reality TV, will be back imminently and he’s got a sixth Emmy to show for it.
RuPaul Charles became the person of colour with the most Emmy wins of all time this week, winning his sixth as judge at the Creative Arts Emmys. He will next appear in the new series of Drag Race UK which premieres on BBC3 on September 23 and a whole raft of new guest judges has been revealed.
Joining the likes of the previously announced Kathy Burke, Oti Mabuse and Matt Lucas will be stone cold hottie Russell Tovey, singing legend Lulu and Bridgerton/Derry Girls star (and huge LGBTQ+ ally) Nicola Coughlan.
Elsewhere in the Drag Race world, the Canadian iteration (helmed by Brooke Lynn Hytes) has revealed the trailer for season 2 and invited us to Meet The Queens, which you can do RIGHT NOW below. We spoil you. The show premieres on October 14.
Both new series’ will be recapped on the UK’s premier Drag Race podcast United Queendom with new episodes every week.
