Male dancer accuses Travis Wall of grooming and sexual misconduct

Travis Wall, the runner up from season 2 of US dance competition So You Think You Can Dance has been accused of sexual misconduct and grooming by fellow dancer Myles Lavallee.

The alleged grooming occurred with Lavalee was 16 and Wall was 20. Lavallee accused Wall of making sexual advances towards him, saying “We were doing hand massages, which just creeps me out now”.  He also said Wall had given him ecstasy before Lavallee called a friend over for support in the situation. Wall allegedly then cut off ties with Lavallee after this, which Lavallee said was due to him not accepting Wall’s sexual advances.

After coming second on the show, Wall has since been the main choreographer, helping to instigate the first same sex pairing in the competition. Wall has now been cut from the travelling company of Break The Floor which provides master classes for younger dancers. The dance company said it will be looking into the accusations further.

Via a statement from his management, Wall has denied all allegations.
