First male accuser takes the stand in R. Kelly trial alleging sexual abuse

The trial of the beleaguered R&B star R. Kelly has entered its third week in Brooklyn NY, with the first male accuser testifying that the star promised him fame in exchange for sex.

R. Kelly denies all charges brought against him but the man, now 32, said that when he was 17 he was asked by Kelly how far he would go to make it in the music industry and if he’d had any fantasies involving men before dropping to his hands and knees, crawling towards him and giving him a blow job.

The man alleged that afterward the sexual encounter: “he told me to keep between him and me”, adding, “we family now, we brothers”.  He also said that Kelly had asked him to call him “daddy”, which bares a striking resemblance to the testimonies of several of his female accusers.

The trial continues. R. Kelly is accused of eight counts of violating an interstate anti-sex trafficking law and one count of racketeering.
