Appeal for Harvey Parker: Missing 20-year-old last seen leaving Heaven nightclub

Concerns grow as 20-year-old still missing and phone unresponsive.

Harvey Parker, a 20-year-old University of York student, from Lambeth, south London, was last seen leaving Heaven nightclub, close to Charing Cross station, at about 02:15 GMT on Friday (December 17).

A friend said the 20-year-old, who has autism, had been to a Lil Simz concert in Brixton, south London, before going to Heaven Nightclub, a London LGBT+ venue, and leaving alone.

CCTV footage released by Metropolitan Police shows him on Craven Street before walking south towards the Embankment.

Calls to his mobile have gone unanswered, and the Metropolitan Police say there is “nothing to indicate any reason for him to go missing”.

“We have not been able to contact Harvey and his family have still heard nothing from him”, said Detective Sergeant Dick Nation, from the Central South Safeguarding Unit. “There is no reason why he should have gone missing and his family and friends are extremely worried by his disappearance.”

“To assist the public, we are releasing images of Harvey from the night he went missing. We know he was last seen on CCTV on Craven Street, walking south towards Embankment. This is a terrible ordeal for Harvey’s family and friends and I would urge anyone who saw him or has any information to contact police immediately.”

BBC News reports Harvey’s mother, Amanda Armstrong, described her son as a “lovely, sweet, friendly, music loving young man who is 20 and who is autistic.

“He has high functioning autism meaning he doesn’t necessarily read a situation in the same way that others do,” according to the report. “This makes him vulnerable in certain situations”. Amanda added: “We just want him back for Christmas”.

Harvey is 5ft 8ins tall, of mixed race, has a slight build and short black hair.
