Gwen Stefani is determined to give us happy feels with her new music. Continuing with the sun drenched ska of December’s Let Me Reintroduce Myself, she unleashed new track Slow Clap yesterday.
You’d be forgiven for thinking of her as more of a TV judge than a pop star nowadays having not really bothered the charts that much for over a decade after an under-performing album in 2016.
We still think of Gwen as a legend however, having fronted nineties ska/punk band No Doubt and going on to kill it commercially and critically with 2004’s Love. Angel. Music. Baby which still sounds incredible to this day.
Oh and she popped up on Dua Lipa’s remix album Club Future Nostalgia last year too so props to Gwen for keeping her finger on the global music pulse.
