Star of The Batchelor and former football player Colton Underwood has revealed that he is gay in an interview with Good Morning America, saying that Lockdown helped him come to terms with his sexuality.

In the interview (below) the 29 year old spoke his truth, saying that he felt “emotional in such a good, happy, positive way” – and we literally defy any homosexual who has come out themselves to watch it and not tear up a lil bit. It’s awesome.

Tissues at the ready…

The star said: “Obviously this year’s been a lot for a lot of people, and it’s probably made a lot of people look themselves in the mirror and figure out who they are and what they’ve been running from and putting off in their lives”.

“For me, I’ve ran from myself for a long time and I’ve hated myself for a long time, and I’m gay. I came to terms with that that earlier this year and have been processing it. The next step in all of this is sort of letting people know” – he continued.

“I’m still nervous, but it’s been a journey for sure.”

Underwood made his debut on 2018’s The Bachelorettee, before then making an appearance on Bachelor in Paradise’s fifth season, then going on to become the title star in 2018 for season 23.

Congrats, Colton!
