Listen up, Upper Eastsiders. Kristen Bell is back as iconic narrator in first official teaser.

The original Gossip Girl ran for six seasons between 2007 and 2012 and gays fans of the OG cult TV series have been waiting with baited breath to see how the reboot might look. And now we’ve got some insight…

“You’ve gotten so comfortable, thinking you’re in control of your image, your actions, the narrative, but you forgot one thing, I can see you and before I’m through I’ll make sure you see you too, XOXO.”

“Bet you’re excited to see me back in action. Don’t forget I’ve got my eye on you too. See you July 8. XOXO, Gossip Girl”

EEK! The show will focus on a new generation of New York private school teens but, since some time has gone by since its predecessor, you can expect the reboot to be a 2021 update packed full of social media scandal and, most importantly, HELLA QUEERNESS.
