After pandemic sized delays, we’ve finally got ourselves a look at Steven Spielberg’s much anticipated remake of one of Hollywood’s greatest classics, West Side Story.

Whether you’re a Shark or a Jet, anyone who knows the musical will be excited to see the new version which comes out in December, exactly 60 YEARS after the original hit the theatres. 

Starring Ansel Elgort and Rachel Zegler, the screenplay has been written by Spielberg so that it is closer to the original stage play as opposed to the movie version that followed. Expect it to be emotional, sumptuous, gritty and oh so very Hollywood.
