Everything is indeed awesome in the world of Lego. From Star Wars to Friends to Super Mario, the collabs seemingly know no bounds. Now it’s time for Lego to get into the LGBTQ+ inclusivity game.

The ‘Everyone is Awesome’ set, taken from the Tegan and Sara’s Oscar nominated song Everything is Awesome, is a 346 piece rainbow coloured set with 11 figures with an impressive array of hair do’s.

The set’s designer Matthew Ashton said: ‘I wanted to create a model that symbolizes inclusivity and celebrates everyone, no matter how they identify or who they love. I am fortunate to be a part of a proud, supportive and passionate community of colleagues and fans.’

Ashton continued: ‘We share love for creativity and self-expression through Lego bricks and this set is a way to show my gratitude for all the love and inspiration that is constantly shared’

The set comes out in June to celebrate Pride month but we have a feeling the new set is going to end up on a lot of people’s Christmas lists too.
