It’s a good week if you’re a fan of the UK drag scene and dance pop you can strut/sing along to.
First of all UK drag superstar Jodie Harsh’s new track My House getting good radio traction, already on the B list at BBC Radio 1. The stonker is a cover of the 1980’s smash In My House by girl group Mary Jane Girls. The track was most prominently featured the vintage costume raid scene in the first episode of Pose.
The video includes over 61 British drags queens including RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s season 1 winner The Vivienne… who just happens to have dropped her own single this week.
The Vivienne’s debut music video might not feature as many drag queens in it but we do get a glimpse of UKDR season 2 favourite Tia Kofi! Viv shows us that she’s got a good set of pipes and the moves to show for it.
