Queer icon MNEK has revealed that he’s working on Little Mix’s seventh studio album, but things have changed since Jesy Nelson left the band – and for the better it seems.
Little Mix now comprises of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwell which seems to have given them a new lease of life and creativity after rumours were flying around that the band were taking a break. With Leigh-Anne and Perrie both heavily pregnant, they’d be forgiven for having some time off but pop doesn’t take time off goddammit!
MNEK co-wrote their massive hit Sweet Melody and recently hit the top of the UK charts with his smash Head and Heart where he collaborated with Joel Corry. Talking about the new Little Mix project, he said: ‘The songs are great and they seem much lighter and much more excited – I think that’s a plus. The dynamic has changed because they’re doing things that are between those three, and they are very aware what they bring to the table now as a trio. I think they are enjoying this dynamic.”
We love a bit of Little Mix and are psyched for some new music with a fresh feel and can’t think of anyone better whom with to collab!
