With Pride celebrations (mostly) back on this year, there are already plenty of reasons to be excited for June 2021. Especially so for Marvel fans as the comic book giants are set to release graphic novels that will celebrate queer characters. And they’re not the only ones – both Marvel AND DC Comics will launch LGBTQ anthologies in June. It’s a great day to be gay!

First up we’ve got this on the Marvel front…

Iceman, Northstar, Mystique, Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Destiny and Daken will be among those featured in the release, which follows the introduction of a gay Captain America earlier this month!

The DC edition, meanwhile, will be titled ‘DC Pride’ and will feature popular heroes like Batwoman, Green Lantern and more.

Get your hands on the 80-page DC release from the 8th June and ‘Marvel’s Voices: Pride #1’ when it hits stands on 23 June.
