Who doesn’t love a seasonal movie to watch as you cosy up in front of a log fire whilst snacking on toasted marshmallows?

Ok well most Christmas films are Santa sackful of shit, even when you have the queen of country music at the helm (we’re looking at you Christmas on the Square).

That trend was deliciously reversed last year with a gay twist thanks to Kristen Stewart and the Happiest Season which was a festive joy like a spanking new dildo under the tree.

This year Netflix are hoping to get that perfect tree ornament in Michael Urie who you will remember as Mark from Ugly Betty. We’ve been re-watching the series as it’s playing on Star on Disney+ which although lauded for being ahead of it’s time has some woefully dated trans content that we are going to be discussing at a later date.

Back to Michael Urie, he is to star in gay holiday themed film Single All The Way about a man desperate to escape his family’s negging about his single status. I mean, what festive film wouldn’t be complete without a hellish family you have to suffer til you can bin the Chrissy pud and dash back to your batch pad right? RIGHT? Ok maybe that’s just us.

The movie also stars hotties Philemon Chambers and Luke MacFarlane but we’ll also be watching for comedy ledge Jennifer Coolidge and Sister Act’s Kathy Najimy. Jingle all the YAY!  The film is coming to Netflix this holiday season.
