Finally! The rapper has been teasing the song since mid-2000 and at last we have a release date!

Lil Nas X confirmed the drop date for his long-awaited new single, ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’, via his Twitter saying that it will be available from March 26th. He also revealed adjoining artwork for the track and we have to say… we’re rather excited!

So far we’ve only had smidgens of the track (part of it was featured in a Super Bowl advert) “We stand there in defiance,” Nas said in the clip. “We the makers. We the ground breakers. We the creators, the screamers and dreamers.”

The star’s number one country-rap classic, Old Town Road, was awarded its 14th platinum certification in the United States earlier this year, becoming the most certified single in history.

Safe to say we’re beyond giddy to hear the new stuff in full!
