Alex-Mariah Peter has made history this week as the first trans woman to win Germany’s Next Top Model.

Of her incredible win, Alex said: “I always thought at the beginning that my story has always been told when you hear my voice. I am a trans woman, yes. But first and foremost I am a woman. Being different is much more normal than we admit to ourselves.”

A quick look at her stunning portfolio and you can see that she a worthy winner. The franchise as a whole has only seen one other trans winner, Loiza Lamers won Holland’s Next Top Model back in 2015.

Congratulations, Alex!
