Four new characters, returning characters, and a steamy-looking threesome. HELLO, Elite season 4!
Okay so admittedly I was a little late to the party with Netflix’s Elite. Also admittedly it was due, in-part, to me not knowing that it was a Spanish show and that I had to have it selected to English dubbing, so I spent the whole first episode with no clue what dafuck was happening or what anyone was saying.
Whoops.
Anyway, people kept talking about it and so eventually I revisited the smash-hit teen drama and I’m SO pleased I did.
If absurdly attractive people, mystery, bitchiness, catty behaviour, plus a decent amount of gay sex scenes and queer narratives is your kinda thing then I’m going to suggest you do too.

The fourth season hits Netflix in its entirety on June 18, so there is still time to catch up if you haven’t started watching yet, plus that actually makes you extra lucky because you’re in the enviable situation where you can binge (jealous)!

In 2019, Netflix (via The Hollywood Reporter) announced that the series, which debuted in 2018, had been watched by 20 million households. As such, that makes it a certified global hit and the show has already been greenlit for Season 5 as of February 2021.
The sad news is that some of our personal favourites aren’t returning for S4 (we won’t say who), however there are some new and exciting cast members and the shows creators said they were careful to “at all costs keep the DNA of the show” and “to try and have a new powerful group facing the old students, and to try to make something powerful there.”
Since mystery is part of the shows’ whole bag (the season season finale is always a climatic romp) we won’t ruin it with too many spoilers, but we do have an official trailer which you can check out below!
Will you be watching with us??
