Recently we wrote about the shocking details of Demi Lovato’s overdose that she candidly discusses in new documentary Dancing With The Devil.

New shocking details have emerged from the film which has been shown as part of the South by Southwest festival that cast a very dark shadow over her teenage years.

The singer doesn’t say point any fingers at her accuser, but she does say that that she ‘had to see this person all the time’ after the alleged assault.

In the YouTube docuseries, Lovato says ‘My MeToo story is me telling somebody that someone did this to me and they never got in trouble for it,’ continuing, ‘I’ve just kept it quiet because I’ve always had something to say, and I’m tired of opening my mouth.’

Reviews have been positive with The Guardian giving it 4 stars calling it ‘a pop music doc of shattering candour.’

Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil will be released on YouTube on March 23rd.
