Cinderella ella ella… Cabello.

Oooh we do love an adaptation. Especially when Camilla is looking so FIRE as Cinders.

We now have first images of Prime’s adaptation of Cinderella, set for release worldwide in September and directed by Pitch Perfect‘s Kay Cannon.

Prime say that the remake is set to be a “musically-driven bold new take on the traditional story you grew up with,” following “an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow.”

“But with the help of her Fab G, she is able to persevere and make her dreams come true.”

Certified handsome chap Nicholas Galitzine takes the role of Prince Charming and Billy Porter will be in the role of Fab G, a genderless fairy godparent.

Also in the impressive cast you’ll find the like of Idina Menzel (who plays the evil step-mother which we are already LIVING for btw), James Corden (who also produced the movie), Missy Elliott, Pierce Brosnan, Minnie Driver, John Mulaney and Romesh Ranganathan. That’s a lotta star power.

The musical will include covers of classic pop songs from contemporary global artists as well as originals.

In short, it sounds AWESOME. Glass slippers at the ready (heels also optional).
