Britney Spears has come out fighting – and swearing – in an empowering statement on her Instagram which calls out a lot of people, including her sister Jamie Lynn this time.
After being criticised for her lounge room dancing videos she’s stated that it was the best we are going to get right now, saying ‘I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think.’
Britney goes on to say: ‘I’d much rather share videos YES from my living room instead of onstage in Vegas… I’m not gonna put on heavy makeup and try try try on stage again and not be able to do the real deal with remixes of my songs for years’
She says that amongst other things: ‘I don’t like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes’ which is a definite burn for Jamie Lynn but more tragically say that ‘This conservatorship killed my dreams’ and that all she had left was hope.
With supportive comments from the likes of Paris Hilton and Selma Blair it’s clear that Britney has found her voice. Hopefully this will all be taken into account and they will FINALLY #freebritney
