Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo defiantly flew the rainbow flag outside his office in Antwerp yesterday in solidarity with the LGBT+ community after the first homophobic murder in Belgium in NINE years.

Along with the flying the flag, De Croo tweeted “In our country, there is no place for hatred. Love wins”.

Police are homing on three minors who are suspected of luring the 42 year old man to a park near the capital via Grindr  in order to murder him.

Clearly upset at the nature of the killing, the PM said he felt “disgust. If it turns out that that person has been trapped based on his sexuality, this would be unacceptable. This is all that we as a society have to revolt against.”
