Three weeks ago, Noel Clarke won the BAFTA for Outstanding Contribution to British Cinema but today BAFTA have been forced to rescind his membership in light of damning accusations made in an explosive investigation conducted by The Guardian.

The star can currently be seen on ITV’s Viewpoint which is due to conclude this evening, should it even go ahead. Sky have released a statement cutting all ties with Clarke, as has Vertigo Films the production company.

The investigation makes for very unpleasant reading and it must be noted that Clarke has released a statement refuting the claims that he is a sexual predator.

Ranging over a period of 15 years of a 20-year exceptional and ground breaking career, his accusers run the gamut from runners to actors to producers with claims they were silenced and bullied out of the industry.
