Come through, BK! Some burgers come SALTY enough.
Despite their powerhouse high-street status in the fast-food market, Chick-fil-A – along with its billionaire owner Dan Cathy – have a long-standing history of supporting and donating to charities with anti-LGBTQ stances.
After being called on their sh*t back in 2019, Cathy and the company promised to change their ways, but then popped up in the news again last week when Cathy was identified by The Daily Beast as a donor to the National Christian Charitable Foundation, which has a history of funding opposition to The Equality Act.

All the shady PR loopholes and homophobic, rich people bollo*ks prompted renewed calls on social media to boycott Chick-fil-A, and Burger King appear to have taken it as a sassy marketing opportunity to show its solidarity with the LGBTQ community.
Here’s the tea…
the #ChKing says LGBTQ+ rights!

during #pride month (even on Sundays 👀) your chicken sandwich craving can do good! we are making a donation* to @HRC for every Ch'King sold 🏳️🌈
The tweet seemed pointed towards Chick-fil-A by including that it would continue its donations “even on Sundays,” when some restaurant are closed.
Fast-food chain politics and a general infuriation towards CFA aside, we’re just living for the sassiness of it all, and if some of our lunch money gets to go back into the community during Pride Month too? We’re with you, Burger King.
